Dedicated to improving the quality of life by providing state-of-the-art cardiology services and compassionate care, Metro Heart Group (MHG) is the premier, private practice cardiology group in the St. Louis metropolitan area.

Established in 1994 with the integration of two six-physician cardiology practices, MHG now consists of 26 physicians complemented by a highly trained clinical support staff. MHG is a premier cardiology private practice in St. Louis and is comprised of 10 patient care offices, and a cardiac cath lab (Midwest Cardiovascular Center).

MHG provides comprehensive adult cardiology services that include invasive and non-invasive diagnostic procedures, as well as therapeutic interventions. To support referring physicians and to achieve the highest degree of quality and efficiency available in the ever-changing health care industry, MHG physicians utilize all of the major hospital systems and participate in all of the major managed care organizations in the St. Louis area

Clinical and functional outcomes, as well as adherence to standards of practice guidelines are continuously monitored by MHG's Quality Improvement Program. A research and educational foundation was formed to help provide patient education while supporting patient access to the multiple treatment options provided through clinical research.
