Graduated from Utah State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1978 and a Masters of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in 1985. He has achieved the Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE) designation of the American College of Medical Practice Executives. His extensive experience includes 30 years in the health care industry, dealing with medical practice management issues, strategies and operations in several work environments and with many medical specialties including with The Budge Clinic, Logan Utah; The Private Practices of the Department of Surgery of the University of Louisville Medical School; and the division of professional services with HealthTrust-Columbia/HCA of Utah. He has served as Metro Heart Group’s Executor Director since January 1996.
